KIMBERLEY'S ESCAPE FROM LOCK-DOWN

Eureka!! The government has (13.05.2020) lifted
restrictions on viewings for sales and rentals; so long as
‘Social distancing’ rules and PPE/hygiene rules are
taken into account and strictly adhered to!!
Whilst this is fabulous, positive news, and very reassuring and
encouraging for the ‘Housing Market’; this easing of
the restrictions requires us all to be responsible for our own well
being; and that of others.
Our office will not ‘re-open’ straight away; we will
continue to operate from our homes, and attend our office for
periods prior to, and shortly after appointments that have been
made. Please be patient, as all ‘meetings’ have
to be be pre-planned/arranged; thus there is no need for the office
to be manned 9.00am – 5.00pm. We are seeing significant
requests to view properties and we will be making firm appointments
for meetings at our office or at relevant properties.
The guidance from the Government is strict, and has to be adhered
to for everyones safety, virtual viewings will be enabled by
ourselves as soon as possible, with videos being prepared by us
asap for potential ‘viewers’ to see a property ideally
prior to a physical viewing being booked.
Only 1 viewer is allowed in a property at any time, and viewings
initially will be for 5-15 minutes per individual. All
viewers will need to travel in their own vehicles ideally, avoiding
public transport where possible and our tenants or vendors should
ideally vacate the property prior to our arrival; but prior to
vacating, please leave all internal doors open, and our viewers
will refrain from touching surfaces where possible.
Handwashing rules will apply, and the use of face masks, gloves and
overshoes will be strictly enforced by ourselves. Like most
estate agencies, we currently have a reduced team, some are on
furlough, so meetings need to be given maximum possible
notice.
Please be assured that KIMBERLEY’S SALES &
LETTINGS’ will do all it can to facilitate the requests made;
and we fully understand that the health and safety of our clients
and staff are of paramount importance.
‘Stay safe’, safe journeys and look forward to seeing
you soon.
Regards
Louis Kimberley and staff
